Notebooks are the wrong tool for so many problems, but they do wonders for others.

But how do you version-control them without losing it?

Jussi Pakkanen - Meson: a build system in and for Python

Meson is a build system for compiled languages like C, C++ and Rust that has been designed from the ground up for usability. In this presentation we look how it can be used to build a cross platform project that is then exposed to Python and even uploaded to PyPI.

Jussi Pakkanen is the creator and current project lead of Meson. He has worked on software projects ranging from data analysis to the Linux desktop, embedded development and multimedia frameworks. He is currently enjoying a sabbatical year.
