19:15 Talk 1 - Glenna Buford
The debugger is your friend. Tips and tricks with debugging using lldb: We’ve all been in situations where just setting a breakpoint isn’t helpful; that pesky bug that happens only when the stars (variables) align. This talk will be a brief introduction to using python scripts with lldb to debug code, using code.
Glenna is a lead iOS Engineer at Wooga, where she’s been working on an active live game, Jelly Splash, for over two years. Glenna has expertise in iOS and Android development, is a director of Women Who Code Berlin, and organizer of Girls’ Games Workshops in Germany. When she’s not computering, she’s usually trying new beers or traveling.
20:00 Talk 2 - Tim Duckett
An Engineer's Guide To Burnout And How To Hack It - How to survive project death marches without burning out or going mad, based on Proper Psychological Science.
Tim has been working with iOS long enough to remember when ARC meant "part of a circle". A refugee from Brexit Britain, he's worked on projects like Coup, the sharing service with the green scooters, and Numbrs, the app that was going to reinvent German banking but didn't.
