Electrolux, Sankt Göransgatan 143, Stockholm
Welcome to the 11th Continuous Delivery Stockholm meetup!
This event will consist of two talks focused on Continuous Delivery followed by some kind of moderated discussions on the topics of the presentations and Continuous Delivery in general.
The meetup is all about meeting like-minded people, discuss use cases and share experiences.
Infrastructure provisioning with Terraform
Terraform enables you to safely and predictably create, change, and improve production infrastructure. It is an open source tool that codifies APIs into declarative configuration files that can be shared among team members, treated as code, edited, reviewed, and versioned. During this session, we will code live, from scratch, a small piece of infrastructure explaining the main concepts of Terraform. At the same time, we will give hints about PROS and CONS from our experience using it at Dooer. From synchronisation of the status, how we are using it in our CI tools and how to use it in a team.
Speakers: Miguel Á. Domínguez Coloma & Albin Skott, Dooer
A year of mob programming - tips & tricks
Mob programming is when the whole development team works on the same thing, at the same time, in the same space and with one shared computer, screen and keyboard. I've been working in a development team where we've been mob programming for well over a year, every day, without exceptions. We've noticed an enormous boost in productivity and we really feel that we make the most possible use of the team's overall brain capacity to solve problems and to ship high quality software to our customers.
But it's not always that easy. We've learned to master this way of working the hard way, by continuously improving on our processes. In this presentation I will give an introduction to mob programming, the effects we've seen, why you should consider this way of working and some tips and tricks that we've learned along the way.
Speaker: Tommy Tynjä, Diabol AB
