Getting started with your tech career 👩🏼‍💻

February is upon us! Our next meetup will be taking place on February 19th from 18:00-20:00. We are excited to announce that we will be hosted by Reaktor.

The theme of this meetup is work life and well-being in the IT industry. Instead of two separate talks, we will have a panel discussion with some amazing developers.

Kiti Suupohja is a computer science student and part-time developer living in Tampere. She got her first developer job at only 19 and has a lot of insight into what it’s like to study computer science as well as what challenges one can run into as a young female developer.

Eevis Panula is a linguist-turned-developer working at Codento in Helsinki. She specializes in React and GraphQL, and has a lot to share about what it’s like to work as a developer when one comes from a different background than most colleagues.

Pauliina Jalava is a software developer at Anders Innovations in Turku. She studied at the University of Turku and has been working as a fullstack developer since graduation. She has some good tips to share on how to grow and take more responsibility in ones role.
