We are excited to invite you to the next Helsinki Data Science Meetup on April 20, 2017, hosted by Finnair!
There is a highly interesting agenda with high-profile speakers from the Aviation industry. Annika Nordbo, Head of Data Science at Finnair, will talk about Finnair’s journey of using data in their commercial operations and the company’s journey to be a data-driven airline. Following Annika, we switch gears to an aircraft manufacturer. Matthew Evans, VP Digital Transformation at Airbus Group will highlight the importance of connecting data silos at an aircraft manufacturer using analytics examples from engineering, production, and operations.

The Finnair Headquarters are located at Tietotie 9, Vantaa, near the airport. The best way to get there from Helsinki is to take I or P train from the Central Railway Station (running every 10 minutes) and get off at the Aviapolis Station. From there, it’s a few minutes’ walk.
