Hi all,
We are excited to invite you to the next Helsinki Data Science Meetup on May 11, 2017, hosted by eCraft in Espoo! Once again, there is a highly interesting agenda with high-profile speakers.
eCraft Referre is a fast-growing management consultancy focused on business intelligence and advanced analytics. Right now, eCraft is betting big on predictive analytics and machine learning, hoping to make a massive impact on their Finnish clientele that spans across a number of industries. In addition, we have invited HERE as a special guest, sharing some of their key insights about how to deal with privacy – something that many of you have asked about.

18:15-19:00 Tommi Vilkamo, Chief Data Scientist, eCraft. The Machine Goes Mainstream: how Finnish companies have started to use machine learning and advanced analytics to solve practical business problems.
19:00-19:45 Henri Kujala, Chief Privacy Officer at HERE. Privacy in the context of data-driven business models and a brief look into the new GDPR regulation.
19:45-20:30 Networking
eCraft is located in Säterinportti in Leppävaara (Linnoitustie 6, Espoo). You can get there from Helsinki by taking the train from the Central Railway Station (running every 10 minutes) and get off at the Leppävaara station. From there, it’s a 1 km walk. There are also several buses going to Leppävaara, check www.reittiopas.fi for details. Free parking is also available.
For catering, please sign up by Thursday, May 4. Just a kind request: As the demand is likely to be high, please do not sign up and take away a seat from someone else unless you really plan on coming.
