Founded in 2013, PlayRaven is an independent boutique game development studio employing an international team of hand-picked industry veterans with years of experience from famous companies such as Remedy Entertainment, Rockstar Games, Digital Chocolate and more. PlayRaven combines a wealth of experience from both AAA console and mobile industries to deliver fresh experiences that never feel like a copy, clone or reskin. PlayRaven has released three games to date and is currently working on a reboot of their 2014 debut Spymaster, in addition to working on a top secret well-known game IP.

Seminar speakers:

Teemu Haila, VP, PlayRaven
Teemu Haila is VP and Co-Founder at PlayRaven. Teemu works closely with all games teams, pushing forwards PlayRaven's development practices and ensuring our promises of diehard innovation and new game experiences are met with products that deliver. Teemu previously worked as Product Lead on a number of projects at Wooga, including on the development of Diamond Dash, one of Wooga's most successful titles. Teemu is on the IGDA Finland Board of Directors and has been an IGDA volunteer for over 10 years.

Lasse Seppänen, CEO, PlayRaven
Lasse Seppänen is the CEO and Co-Founder of PlayRaven. Lasse has worked in several games development and executive roles since 1998, including his role at Remedy as COO and Executive Producer on XBOX 360 cult hit Alan Wake. Lasse's passion lies in creating new and fresh game experiences, which is a common thread that can be traced back throughout his whole career, and is the vision that drives PlayRaven forward to creating unique mobile F2P experiences. Lasse is an IGDA Finland Co-Founder, and years later still regularly attends the monthly gatherings.
