Fleminggatan 48, 112 33, Stockholm
Stockholm R User Group invites you to a day of explorative analysis on TED talks data on Saturday, 21st of October 2017.
In the morning Mikael Huss will share some of his experiences with Kaggle challenges and then we will form small teams and explore the newly released TED talks dataset (https://www.kaggle.com/rounakbanik/ted-talks) to create visualizations (e.g. word clouds), predict labels using text classification, or any other ideas that you come up with during the day. The most interesting contribution will win an everlasting honour and a small prize. If you have time, please feel free to get custom to the data even before we meet at the hackathon.
The venue will be held at Avaus - Fleminggatan 48,[masked] Stockholm - who is also currently looking for a talented Junior Data Scientist, so if you are interested it will be an excellent opportunity to show your skills and to learn more about the company, see https://www.avaus.fi/en/careers/.
