This time Vladislav Supalov will give a talk about "Traction, Why it Matters, A Brief Introduction and Pivii-tastic Takeaways".

Vladislav is an entrepreneur, machine learning enthusiast and DevOps geek. Currently, he is co-founding Pivii Technologies - fascinated with startup marketing, teamcraft and making sense of numbers. Traction, Why it Matters, A Brief Introduction and Pivii-tastic Takeaways Do you know a person who working hard to build a great product, but at the same time nobody who would benefit knows it exists? That's regrettable, too frequent and, of course, avoidable. One of the first, but by far not best insights from the Traction book by Gabriel Weinberg and Justin Mares is: "Most startups don't fail at building a product. Most startups fail at getting traction".
The topic, book and advice deserve a lot more attention than they are already getting. In this talk, I would love to:

• Introduce the traction topic to you, and why I find it utterly fascinating.

• Raise awareness regarding the significance of planning & thinking ahead.

• Give a brief overview of the main elements laid out by Gabriel & Justin, with actionable examples.

• Share how we are implementing the advice at Pivii Tech, and what we have learned on our journey.
