Aapo Komppa: Navigating Right-to-Left: Insights into Localising Websites for RTL Languages

Introduction to issues we had solved and things we noticed when doing a website localised for language read right-to-left. I’ll go through this with the eyes of a software developer but will dip little in UI/UX design. I’ll explore how popular libraries, frameworks and web-development tools handle RTL layout. I will also show how to localise both LTR and RTL languages. I don’t speak any language which uses RTL script so this will be explained based on experience I got while making an Arabic website for a client.
