Turku <3 Frontend: May meetup with Vincit (2023)

It's time for a celebration. Let's celebrate the arrival of the summer and our 50th meetup.

Last day of May, we're hosted by Vincit and we're going to have a bit special program.

We start with a flexible opening time: you're welcome to join around 17.30 and Vincit has promised to heat up their pizza oven so we get to bake our own pizzas.

Daniel Yuschick: "Keys To An Accessibility Mindset"

Accessible design is good design.

In this talk, we will discover the importance of web accessibility, and highlight how we all benefit from the accessible design choices all around us. Gain an understanding of the four principles of web accessibility, before exploring three keys for applying those principles naturally to your design and development process.

This presentation will include experiences of advocating for and leading company initiatives toward accessibility, as well as practical examples demonstrating the before and after of our keys to an accessibility mindset.
