Adding cutting-edge features to a bloated codebase is usually a beast developers aren't too happy to face. But sometimes you just gotta have that "Add to Homescreen" -button popping up on your 2011 WordPress-site, no questions asked.
Instead of attacking the beast head-on, we'll go around it. I'll show how I used a mix of Puppeteer and Service Workers to periodically scrape parts of a website, serving everything as a small offline package to the users.
