Dusan Turajlic: WTF IS TDD?

In this talk we'll first take a quick look at what Test Driven Development actually is. We will move forward into looking at the difference between black box and white box testing.

After going through the basics, we are going to go through a live demo of TDD in action and implement a couple of real features using TDD.

Olli Sorje: Why I Prefer Unit Tests Over UI Tests

There’s some kind of consensus in the software development community that you should write automated tests. But what kind of tests you should write? Unit tests? Integration tests? End-to-end tests? And how do those even differ from each other?

I’ll discuss briefly what all of these different types of tests are. I’ll also introduce you the concept of the testing pyramid and show how it can help you to decide what kind of tests you should write.
